Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking a reliable waste collection driver in Newman, WA. You will safely operate a range of trucks, load and unload waste, and deliver loads to recycling and disposal facilities while delivering excellent customer service.

We offer a stable, permanent full-time role with long-term security, a strong safety culture, and an attractive salary package including a $500 weekly allowance and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• HR Licence required and unrestricted.
• Experience or willingness to operate a variety of trucks.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Excellent customer service and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate waste collection vehicles.
• Load, transport and unload commercial and industrial waste materials.
• Deliver loads to designated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle presentation.
• Comply with fatigue management, safety and operational requirements.

The Opportunity

About You

We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused driver who enjoys working independently and as part of a team.

• Unrestricted HR Licence
• Experience or willingness to operate a variety of trucks
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
