Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management in Geelong VIC is seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Drivers for a permanent full-time role based at our Moolap depot. You will operate rear lift, hook lift and front lift vehicles, delivering loads to recycling and disposal facilities across the region, with daily pre-starts and safety checks.

You must hold a valid HR licence or higher with a clean driving record; waste industry experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of collection vehicles including rear lift, hook lift and front lift.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Client interaction and safe loading and unloading of truck.
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out; IVMS compliance.

The Opportunity

Based at our Moolap VIC depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Drivers for full time work performing essential services throughout the region.

• Operating a variety of collection vehicles including rear lift, hook lift and front lift
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
• Daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Client interaction and safe loading and unloading of truck
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out
• All our vehicles are fitted with In Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS) to support safe driving practices.

About You

• Valid HR licence or higher and a clean driving record
• Waste industry experience is an advantage
• Reliable, flexible to work overtime and have a positive attitude
• Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team
• Available for early 4am starts
