Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a reliable Dockhand / Driver to join our Perth-based operations at Perth Airport. This is a full-time role with 10:30am–7:00pm hours, Monday to Friday, plus occasional overtime and eligibility for 10 RDOs per year.

You will handle parcel freight, operate forklifts, assist with local pick-ups and deliveries, and ensure safe, accurate sortation and loading for onward transport. A hands-on, safety-minded approach is essential in a fast-paced depot.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight handling, parcel operations or a similar transport environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift in a busy depot or warehouse.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and manual handling.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Attention to detail when scanning, sorting and processing freight.

About the Role

Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Dockhand / Driver to join our team based at Perth Airport. This is a Full-Time Permanent position working Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 7:00pm, with occasional overtime as required. The successful applicant will also be eligible for 10 RDOs per year.

This is a hands‑on transport role focused primarily on the safe and efficient handling, sorting and movement of parcel freight through our depot. You will also assist with local pick‑ups and deliveries, forklift operations and the loading and unloading of freight as required.

Working as part of a busy operational team, you will help ensure freight is processed accurately and efficiently, ready for collection, delivery or onward transport. The role will involve regular manual handling, freight scanning and sortation, as well as maintaining a safe and organised dock environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling, sorting and processing parcel freight accurately and efficiently

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable and team‑focused individual with experience in freight handling, parcel operations or a similar transport environment. You will be comfortable working in a physically active role and able to maintain accuracy and safety while working in a fast‑paced depot.

You will also bring:

• Previous experience in freight, parcel handling, transport or logistics
• Experience operating a forklift in a busy depot or warehouse environment
• The ability to safely perform regular manual handling and freight handling dutiesA strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good attention to detail when scanning, sorting and processing freight
• A reliable work ethic and willingness to assist across different areas of the operation
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining safe work practices
