Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver for a permanent full-time role in Singleton, NSW. You will run local pickups and deliveries with tautliner and tailgate trucks, starting around 7:00am, Monday to Friday, loading/unloading freight and ensuring loads are secured.

You will operate scanning equipment, verify delivery records, and plan daily routes while providing courteous service to customers and adhering to CoR and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• A current HR Driver Licence – mandatory.
• Previous commercial HR truck-driving experience.
• Experience operating tautliner and/or tailgate trucks.
• Local pickup and delivery (PUD) or general freight experience.
• Good understanding of load restraint and safe freight handling.
• Ability to safely perform manual handling as part of daily deliveries.
• Strong commitment to road and workplace safety.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily delivery schedule.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Knowledge of Singleton and surrounding areas would be advantageous.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

This is a local pickup and delivery role, operating tautliner and tailgate trucks and delivering freight to businesses and customers throughout Singleton and the surrounding community.

About the Role

• Completing local pickups and deliveries throughout Singleton and surrounding areas.
