Job summary

Team Global Express in Karratha seeks a dedicated HR Driver for a full-time permanent role. You will represent the company while picking up freight from customers and delivering to customers in a consistent and timely manner.

The role requires a valid manual HR license, experience with handheld scanners, and familiarity with DG handling. The position offers an above-market hourly rate, a location allowance, 15% superannuation, overtime, and full PPE/uniforms provided.

• Experience with restraining loads in line with Load Restraint Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Represent Team Global Express professionally while picking up freight from customers and delivering to customers in a timely manner.
• Ensure freight is securely loaded and unloaded and transported safely.
• Adhere to scanning and Proof of Delivery procedures and safe driving practices.
• Follow Team Global Express OH&S policies and procedures.
• Accept or reject Dangerous Goods per legal requirements.
• Manage and collect consignment paperwork and manifests at pickup points.
• Ensure freight is packaged safely.

Some Key Responsibilities

• To represent Team Global Express in a professional manner while picking up freight from customers and delivering to customers and in a consistent and timely manner.
• To ensure freight is securely loaded and unloaded and lifted/transported in accordance with safety regulations.
• Adhering to scanning and Proof of Delivery procedures and safe and law-abiding driving practices.
• The driver is expected to understand and respect TGE's OH&S policies and procedures.
• Accept or reject Dangerous Goods in line with legal requirements.
• Manage and collect all consignment paperwork and/or manifests and notes at pickup points.
• Ensure freight is packaged in a safe and effective manner.
