Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited in Western Australia is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support Drilling Operations across multiple sites. You will work with drilling crews, supervisors and site leadership to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company standards and legislative requirements.

The role emphasizes field-based guidance, risk assessment, incident investigations and practical coaching to drive safe, productive operations while building solid working

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety required.
• Experience in mining, drilling or heavy industry environments.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and incident investigation processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Practical and collaborative approach to safety.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline health and safety support to drilling operations.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Facilitate incident investigations and support corrective actions.
• Coach and mentor employees and contractors on safe work practices.
• Assist with safety training, inductions and competency requirements.
• Promote hazard identification and proactive risk management.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and legislation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across drilling operations.
• Develop strong working relationships with site-based stakeholders.
