Job summary

DDH1 Drilling PTY LTD is seeking a seasoned HSE Field Advisor to support multiple WA sites. You will assist drill crews with risk management, conduct inspections, and help with incident investigations using ICAM.

The role requires at least 5 years in mining, a diploma in WHS and ICAM training, plus the ability to travel to remote locations. FIFO rosters (2/1) apply and will be discussed with applicants.

Qualifications

About the Opportunity:

In order to achieve our growth strategies, we are now seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team working across a number of our sites in WA.

Reporting directly to the HSE Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide support, guidance and technical advice to line management and site workers in relation to HSE, ensuring the team maintains a safe workplace/environment across all locations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting drill crews in Risk Management process
• Conducting Inspections and Audits at remote locations
• Assisting with incident investigations using the ICAM process
• Lead the review and development of operational procedures and work instructions
• Maintain data and registers in HSE Management software
• Participate in the development of WHS planning, policies and procedures
• Complete testing and tagging in remote locations

About You:

Have a minimum of 5 years' experience within the mining industry, preferably with exposure to diamond drilling. The preferred candidate will have a minimum diploma level qualifications in WHS and ICAM training. Experienced in coaching supervisors and frontline workers. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional time management and organisational skills; the ability to travel long distances and work on remote sites.

Salary and FIFO rosters; preference is 2/1. Will be discussed individually with applicants.
