Qualifications

  • Mechanical/repair qualifications in heavy diesel, fixed plant, auto electrical or hydraulic trade.
  • Experience in maintenance of surface and underground mobile mining equipment, hydraulic repairs, diagnostics, and low-voltage electrical repairs.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and fault find complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.

  • Creating and developing strong relationships with team members.
  • Carrying out machine pre delivery and customer specific installations on Epiroc's range of surface and underground mining equipment.
  • Carrying out service and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and RCS systems with attention to detail and high focus on quality assurance and quality control.
  • Ability to solve equipment-related issues include diagnostic fault finding.
  • Self-driven and motivated to deliver exceptional service while fostering strong teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Comply with Epiroc and customer SHEQ and WHS requirements.
  • Committed to continuously improving existing work standards and practices.
