Job summary

Workfast is seeking experienced Dozer Operators to join a leading civil and earthmoving contractor on major projects in Petrie. This role offers stable work with consistent hours and overtime opportunities.

Applicants must hold a current RII Dozer, Quarry or Mine Medical, and have a minimum of 2 years' experience operating Dozers on civil sites. A White Card and strong safety awareness are essential, with a pathway to full-time employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Current RII Dozer ticket.
• Current Quarry or Mine Medical.
• Minimum 2 years' experience operating Dozers on civil/earthmoving projects.
• Previous experience in subdivision, roadworks, or bulk earthworks highly regarded.
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow directions.
• Additional plant tickets (e.g., Excavator, Moxy, Roller) highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of Dozers on civil construction sites.
• Bulk earthworks, trimming, and final shaping.
• Working closely with supervisors and ground crews.
• Completing pre-start checks and routine machine maintenance.
• Assisting with general site tasks when required.
