Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an experienced Dozer Operator for CHPP environments in Mackay, Queensland. The role focuses on operating dozers, managing coal stockpiles, and ensuring product quality while meeting safety and production targets.

The ideal candidate will possess CHPP experience, current certifications, and a strong commitment to safety, with the ability to work rotating day and night shifts in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating dozers in a mining or CHPP environment.
• Relevant RII or signed competency for Dozer Operations.
• Current Standard 11.
• Current Coal Board Medical.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Experience with stockpile management highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate dozers within a CHPP environment.
• Manage coal stockpiles to support processing plant requirements.
• Maintain stockpile integrity and product quality.
• Conduct push-up and reclaim activities.
• Complete pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Work safely to meet production targets and operational requirements.
• Report equipment faults and operational issues as required.
