Job summary

Roy Morgan is seeking Field Interviewers to visit households across Australia and conduct face-to-face interviews on a tablet. You will welcome participants, explain the study, and invite them to participate in important research while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

You will work in a field role with flexible hours, including at least one weekend day, and receive full training and ongoing support from field managers. No prior market research experience is required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable approaching households and establishing trust quickly.
• Strong communication, active listening and adaptability.
• Ability to manage refusals professionally and obtain informed consent.
• Organised self-starter who plans routes and records diligently.

Responsibilities

• Initiate conversation and invite participants to take part in research.
• Build rapport, handle objections, and obtain informed consent.
• Conduct structured interviews using a tablet.
• Record observations, follow privacy protocols and maintain confidentiality.
• Plan weekly schedules to meet minimum hours, including at least one weekend day.
