Job summary

Roy Morgan Research is seeking Field Interviewers to visit households across Australia and conduct face-to-face interviews using tablets. You will introduce Roy Morgan, invite participation, and collect high-quality responses while maintaining confidentiality.

We provide full training and ongoing support from experienced field managers. Expect flexible hours with at least one weekend day, and the opportunity to contribute to important research that informs government, business and community

Qualifications

Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).
Right to work in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident).
Availability for at least 20 hours per week, including one weekend day.
Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Willingness to obtain National Police Check and Working with Children Check (paid by Roy Morgan).
Experience in field interviewing or door-to-door outreach is a plus.

Responsibilities

Initiate conversations and invite participants to take part in impactful research.
Build rapport quickly, manage refusals, and obtain informed consent.
Conduct structured interviews using a tablet.
Record observations and follow safety/privacy protocols.
Plan weekly schedule to meet minimum hours, including weekend work.
