Roy Morgan is seeking Field Research Officers to conduct face-to-face interviews across Australia. You will visit households, initiate conversations at the door, and collect structured data on views and behaviours while ensuring informed consent.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Training is provided and privacy and security protocols must be followed.

Qualifications

• Ability to build rapport with diverse households and handle refusals professionally.
• Excellent listening skills and sensitivity when discussing personal topics.
• Strong time management and ability to plan routes and meet targets independently.
• Comfort with tablets and following on-screen scripts/protocols.

Responsabilités

• Visit assigned households and confidently initiate conversations at the door.
• Build rapport quickly, manage refusals and objections respectfully, and ensure informed consent.
• Conduct accurate, structured interviews on a wide range of topics.
• Record observations, follow safety and privacy protocols, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Plan your weekly schedule to meet agreed hours, including at least one weekend day.
