Job summary

Roy Morgan is seeking Field Interviewers in Australia to visit local households, introduce Roy Morgan, and invite participation in important research. This face-to-face role involves door knocking, building rapport, and gathering structured interview data on a tablet.

You will plan weekly hours including at least one weekend day, ensure informed consent, and maintain confidentiality. A current driver's license and a valid vehicle are required, along with fluent English and the right to work in

Qualifications

Fluent English (spoken and written).
Current driver’s licence and a reliable, registered vehicle.
Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children’s Check (paid by Roy Morgan).
Ability to plan weekly hours including at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities

Initiate conversation with participants who are not expecting your visit and invite them to participate in research.
Build rapport quickly, manage refusals and objections professionally, and ensure informed consent.
Conduct accurate, structured interviews on a wide range of topics using a tablet.
Record observations, follow safety and privacy protocols, and maintain confidentiality.
Plan your weekly schedule to meet agreed hours, including at least one weekend day.
