Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting to manage rotas, train staff in basic skills, and ensure continuity of service during major staff shortages. You will work under management to deliver toolbox training, monitor mandatory training including COSHH, and maintain records and documentation.

The role involves staff appraisals, addressing performance issues, and cooperating on health and safety practices to meet Trust standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in staff training and development.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices (COSHH).
• Experience delivering toolbox talks.
• Ability to identify and resolve staff performance issues.
• Experience handling customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work to domestic assistants and cover rotas.
• Train staff in basic skills under management.
• Record information on computers and maintain documentation.
• Carry out staff appraisals.
• Provide informal disciplinary warnings under management.
• Liaise with management to ensure continuity of service during shortages.
• Maintain hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Handle customer complaints with management.
• Develop toolbox training sheets.
