Job summary

Bethanie Group is seeking an experienced Domestic Assistant to support residents at the Bethanie Peel site in Mandurah. This casual role typically runs 07:00–14:00, with coverage for sick leave, holiday cover, and weekends as needed.

You will maintain clean, safe environments, manage linen stocks, assist with laundry, and follow infection control procedures. The role offers flexible work arrangements where applicable and a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe environment across resident areas.
• Keep supplies and linen stocks stocked and organized.
• Assist with laundry, including sorting, washing and folding.
• Follow infection control procedures for laundry and cleaning.
• Report damaged linen or maintenance needs promptly.
• Work with the team to support residents' comfort and wellbeing.

We are currently seeking experienced Domestic Assistant to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Peel site, Mandurah.

This role is offered on aCasual Basis.

The ideal candidate would be available for 07:00 - 14:00 shifts. Also available to cover sick leave shifts, and holiday cover, and weekends.

Renumeration:

$29.98 per hour

The Role

• Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy environment across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and facility spaces.
• Ensuring cleaning supplies and linen stocks are maintained throughout the facility.
• Assisting with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distributing linen and clothing.
• Following infection control procedures and safe handling practices when processing laundry and cleaning resident areas.
• Reporting any damaged linen, equipment or maintenance concerns as required.
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of residents.

About You

• Previous experience working as a Domestic Cleaner, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment.
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group.
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations.
• Current NDIS or Valid Police Clearance.
