Silverchain is hiring a Domestic Assistant for Ellenbrook and surrounds in WA in a casual, part-time capacity. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes to provide domestic tasks, meals, and social support while following a digital schedule on a mobile app.

A reliable vehicle and a current driver’s license are essential, with a typical shift pattern on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9:00am–3:00pm.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.
• A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home using a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support that promotes client independence.
• Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
• Provide social support and assist clients to remain engaged in their community.
• Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients’ homes.
• Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently.
• Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.

Domestic Assistant - Ellenbrook and Surrounds - WA

We’re recruiting a Domestic Assistant for a casual role, mainly needed Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Applicants must live in Aveley, Baskerville, Belhus, Bennett Springs, Bailup, Brabham, Brigadoon, Bullsbrook, Bellevue, Chittering, Caversham, Dayton, Ellenbrook, Henley Brook, Herne Hill, Lower Chittering, Middle Swan, Midvale, Stratton, Millendon, Morangup, Jane Brook, The Vines, Upper Swan, West Swan, Whiteman, Red Hill, Gidgegannup, Viveash, Caversham, Swan View, Midland, or Woodbridge.

Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential.
