Silverchain is seeking a casual Domestic Assistant for Kalamunda and surrounds in WA. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, performing domestic tasks, meal preparation, and providing social support while following a digital schedule via a mobile app. A valid drivers’ license and reliable vehicle are essential.

The position offers an hourly rate of $43.03 (incl. 25% loading) plus super, travel allowance, and access to mobile work tools and discounts.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.
• A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle.
• Ability to work autonomously in the community following a digital schedule via a mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality support that promotes client independence.
• Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
• Provide social support and assist clients to remain engaged in their community.
• Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients’ homes.
• Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently.
• Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.

Domestic Assistant - Central - Kalamunda and surrounds - WA

We’re recruiting a Domestic Assistant for a casual role,needed Tuesday–Friday between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Applicants must live in Bickley, Beechina, Boya, Carmel, Chidlow, Darlington, Forrestfield, Glen Forrest, Gooseberry Hill, Greenmount, Gorrie, Guildford, Hackets Gully, Hazelmere, Helena Valley, High Wycombe, Hovea, Mundaring, Mahogany Creek, Mt Helena, Kalamunda, Koongamia, Lesmurdie, Maidavale, Malmalling, Parkerville, Pauls Valley, Pickering Brook, Piesse Brook, Reservoir, Sawyers Valley, South Guildford, Stoneville, Walliston, or Woorooloo.

Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential.

What we’re looking for

• 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.
• A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
