Job summary

Silverchain is seeking a Domestic Assistant for a casual role to support clients in Kalamunda and surrounding areas. You will travel between clients’ homes, perform domestic tasks, meal prep and social support under a digital care plan.

A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license are essential, with work Tue–Fri 9:00–3:00. Employees receive a mobile phone for work, travel allowances, and various discounts, with opportunities for education support and a referral scheme.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.
• A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to travel between clients’ homes and follow a digital schedule via a mobile app.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality domestic assistance to clients to promote independence.
• Deliver housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.

We’re recruiting a Domestic Assistant for a casual role,needed Tuesday–Friday between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Applicants must live in Bickley, Beechina, Boya, Carmel, Chidlow, Darlington, Forrestfield, Glen Forrest, Gooseberry Hill, Greenmount, Gorrie, Guildford, Hackets Gully, Hazelmere, Helena Valley, High Wycombe, Hovea, Mundaring, Mahogany Creek, Mt Helena, Kalamunda, Koongamia, Lesmurdie, Maidavale, Malmalling, Parkerville, Pauls Valley, Pickering Brook, Piesse Brook, Reservoir, Sawyers Valley, South Guildford, Stoneville, Walliston, or Woorooloo.

Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential.

What we’re looking for

• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.

• Provide social support and assist clients to remain engaged in their community.

• Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.
