Silverchain is seeking an experienced Domestic Assistant in Collie for a 12-month fixed-term, part-time position (44 hours per fortnight). The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, providing housekeeping, meal prep and social support, with a digital schedule and care plan via mobile app.

Domestic Assistant - Collie

We’re recruiting experienced Domestic Assistants for a 12 month fixed term part-time role (44 hours per fortnight), needed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 9am-3pm.

Applicants must live in Allanson, Brazier, Buckingham, Cardiff, Collie, Collie Burn, Harris River, Lyalls Mill, Mcalinden, Mumballup, Mungalup, Noggerup, Palmer, Preston Settlement, Shotts, Worsley.

Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential.

What we’re looking for

• 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.
• A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
