Silverchain is seeking a casual Domestic Assistant for Ellenbrook and surrounds in WA. The role involves visiting clients on a schedule to provide domestic support, meal prep and social engagement, travelling between homes using a company-approved vehicle and a mobile app to follow care plans.

The position is casual with set shifts (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00am–3:00pm) and offers a supportive Not-for-Profit environment with benefits and referral incentives.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months domestic/industrial cleaning experience.
• Valid driver's license with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously across multiple client homes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support that promotes client independence.
• Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
• Provide social support and assist clients to remain engaged in their community.

Domestic Assistant - Ellenbrook and Surrounds - WA

We’re recruiting a Domestic Assistant for a casual role mainly needed Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Applicants must live in Aveley, Baskerville, Belhus, Bennett Springs, Bailup, Brabham, Brigadoon, Bullsbrook, Bellevue, Chittering, Caversham, Dayton, Ellenbrook, Henley Brook, Herne Hill, Lower Chittering, Middle Swan, Midvale, Stratton, Millendon, Morangup, Jane Brook, The Vines, Upper Swan, West Swan, Whiteman, Red Hill, Gidgegannup, Viveash, Caversham, Swan View, Midland, or Woodbridge.

Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential.

What we’re looking for

• 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience.

• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
