You will log samples in LIMS, assist with daily production tasks, and help ensure data integrity. The position offers long-term growth within a global organization with extensive lab facilities.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role suited to building a long-term career in laboratory operations.
• Basic to intermediate Excel and data entry skills.
• Previous laboratory experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately log samples into laboratory tracking systems (LIMS and genomics platforms).
• Prepare samples for processing, with a primary focus on DNA extraction activities.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks to support daily production requirements.
• Work with the DNA Production Manager to support workflow scheduling and batch processing timelines.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, sample tracking, and record keeping.
• Assist with sample management, storage and archiving.
• Support team operations and contribute to a clean, organised laboratory environment.
• Undertake cross-training in basic genotyping processes as required.
