Job summary

Inghams Enterprises at the Lisarow Distribution Warehouse is seeking a forklift operator to join our team. You will drive High Reach and counterbalance forklifts, unload/load and palletise stock, and use RF scanners in a controlled chill/freezer environment. Robust safety focus and accurate quality checks are essential.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with day/afternoon options; immediate start offered. Onsite parking and employee benefits are provided as part of your role.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months experience operating High Reach and counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience with double deep High Reach forklifts required.
• Able to work Monday to Friday with day or afternoon shifts.
• Capable of following instructions and working to policies and standards.
• Good level of fitness to perform manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive High Reach and counterbalance forklifts in the warehouse.
• Unload/load inbound and outbound stock and stack pallets.
• Quality control: ensure shipment accuracy and report variances.
• Pick and pack using RF scanners; operate forklifts as required.
• Perform manual handling tasks and follow safety procedures.
• Temperature checks and data entry for quality assurance.

Job description

In this role you will be supporting our Lisarow Distribution Warehouse, picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts and working within a chiller/freezer environment.

What you'll do:

• High Reach, Counterbalance forklift driving
• Unloading/loading inbound and outbound stock and efficiently stacking pallets
• Quality control: Ensuring shipment accuracy, checking and reporting quality variances
• Picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts
• Completing manual handling duties – lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
• Identifying and escalating, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks
• Quality control - temperature checks and data entry

What you'll bring:

• Experienced with High-Reach and counterbalance Forklift Operators to work on our various shifts (at least 12 months of experience)
• Previous experience operating double deep High Reach forklifts (Required)
• Monday to Friday with a willingness to work both day and or afternoon shifts.
• Capable of performing tasks efficiently, correctly, and systematicallyin accordance withpolicies and standards.
• Ability to understand, correctly interpret and follow instructions, procedures, and information.
• Good levelof fitness isrequiredas you will manually handle up to 5kg- 15kg.
• Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
• Communicate well both written and verbally
