Qualifications

• Solid understanding of planning and scheduling methodologies.
• Experience using scheduling or production software or WMS / Distribution Systems.
• Advance knowledge of Word, Excel and Email.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring daily customers’ orders, follow up with department heads to ensure scheduled customer / KPI dispatch timelines are met.
• Identify warehouse requirements on daily workload to ensure priorities across the business units are achieved.
• Daily monitoring of orders and order flow.
• Develop and maintain a robust reporting framework to further support the operations planning team.
• Attend meetings as required to keep abreast of upcoming Campaigns/ New release dispatches.
• Identify quality improvements to help improve current warehouse policies and procedures.
• Ensure Priority and Bulk orders are completed to scheduled timelines.
• Coordinate and plan daily transport requirements.
• Coverage for operations planning role during periods of absenteeism (annual and sick leave).
• Releasing orders.
• Oversee daily flex moves for the warehouse.
• Oversee scheduled replenishments.
• Clearing daily orders dispatched (ODA).

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Distribution Planning and Support Team Member to work in our distribution site locatedat Erskine Park.

You will be a key member of the team and play a pivotal role in ensuring daily (specific) requirements are achieved across the various warehouse functions.

Solid understanding of planning and scheduling methodologies.

Experience using scheduling or production software’s or WMS / Distribution Systems.
