Cleanaway is Australia’s leader in sustainable waste management, seeking a Dispute Liaison Officer to resolve customer disputes fairly and promptly. You will work with customers, internal teams and external stakeholders to investigate cases and drive balanced outcomes.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, customer-focused and proficient in Excel, with experience in complaints handling and case management. hybrid work options are available across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, complaints management, dispute resolution, case management, or a similar customer-focused role.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with stakeholders.
• Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer disputes, complaints, and escalations from initial assessment through to resolution.
• Investigate cases by gathering, reviewing, and analysing information, documentation, and evidence.
• Liaise with customers, operations, management and external stakeholders to achieve fair outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and case documentation using Excel and business systems.
• Identify trends, root causes and opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
