Job summary

Direct Chemist Outlet Morayfield is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our new pharmacy team. You will work alongside pharmacists and the wider team to ensure the dispensary runs smoothly and delivers friendly, professional service to customers.

You’ll handle prescription preparation, stock management, and dispensary tasks, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail while supporting a busy, team-focused environment and opportunities for development within the DCO group.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dispensary Technician is required, with accuracy and processes in mind.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and a team-focused approach are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing.
• Assist with scripts entering and leaving the dispensary.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Help customers with general healthcare and product enquiries.
• Manage stock, including ordering, rotating and storing medications.
• Support Webster packing and other dispensary tasks.
• Help keep the dispensary organized and running efficiently.

Full-Time | Part-Time | Morayfield, QLD

Direct Chemist Outlet Morayfield is looking for an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our new pharmacy team.

You’ll work alongside the pharmacists and wider team to keep the dispensary running smoothly, while providing friendly and professional service to our customers.

What you’ll be doing

Your day-to-day will include:

• Assisting pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing.
• Assisting with scripts coming into and out of the dispensary.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Assisting customers with general healthcare and product enquiries within your role.
• Managing stock, including ordering, rotating and storing medications.
• Supporting Webster packing and other dispensary tasks.
• Helping keep the dispensary organised and running efficiently.
• Working closely with the pharmacy team to provide a good customer experience.

What we’re looking for

You have dispensary experience

Previous experience working as a Dispensary Technician is required. You understand the importance of accuracy, organisation and following the right processes.

You care about customers

You’re friendly, approachable and understand that good pharmacy service is about more than just getting the job done.

You work well with others

You enjoy being part of a team, communicate well and are happy to help out when things get busy.

You pay attention to detail

Accuracy is important in the dispensary. You take pride in your work and don’t cut corners.

You’ll also need:

• Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician.
• S2 and S3 certificates.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• A caring and team-focused approach.
• A willingness to learn and develop.

Experience with the following would be an advantage:

• FRED Dispense.
• Webster packing.
