Job summary

Direct Chemist Outlet Wallan is seeking a motivated Dispensary Technician to join our family-owned pharmacy in Wallan, Victoria. If you’re a dedicated individual, you’ll support pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

You will manage stocking, rotations, and ensure accuracy in the dispensary. Previous pharmacy experience, S2/S3 certificates, and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy experience required with S2/S3 certificates.
• Experience with Webster packing/DAAS is preferred.
• Experience as a Dispensary Technician is essential.
• Strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail are required.

What You’ll Do

• Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and healthcare advice
• Manage stock – ordering, rotating, and storing medication
• Assisting in the dispensary with scripts in/out

What We’re Looking For

• Previous pharmacy experience required (holder of S2, S3 certificates)
• Experience with Webster packing/DAAS
• Must have previous experience as a Dispensary Technician
• Strong customer service and communication skills, as well as high attention to detail and accuracy
• A caring nature, team focus, and willingness to learn and grow
• Experience with FRED dispense, MyPak, POS Works, Suremed advantageous
