Job summary

Tonkin Group in the Albury-Wodonga region is looking for a Dispatch Service Coordinator to organise daily schedules, dispatch technicians efficiently, and keep accurate records. You’ll coordinate bookings, monitor workflow, and communicate with customers to confirm appointments.

The role is ideal for an organised communicator with experience in a trades environment and comfort with scheduling software. You’ll work closely with technicians and the customer service team to deliver reliable service

• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead conversations with customers.

• Coordinate daily schedules and assign jobs to ensure efficient technician dispatch.
• Oversee workflow, monitor the day’s run, adjust bookings and handle urgent changes.
• Outbound communication: call customers to confirm appointments and gather details.
• Post-service follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and arrange follow-up work if needed.
• Promote relevant services and assist with additional bookings.
• Operate scheduling tools to keep records accurate and communication smooth.
• Collaborate with technicians and customer service to maintain smooth operations.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for:
