Job summary

Focus Care in Marrickville, NSW, is recruiting Italian-speaking Support Workers to provide in-home disability and aged care services. Shifts run Monday to Sunday with some weekend and overnight opportunities; part-time hours start at 10–15 per week, with flexibility to fit student schedules.

You will perform personal care, transport, domestic assistance and social support, traveling to clients’ homes within a defined area.

Qualifications

• Italian-speaking requirement.
• NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Available to work minimum 10–15 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Willingness to provide personal care, transport, domestic assistance & social support and travel to clients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home aged and dementia care, or disability support.
• Perform personal care tasks and assistance with daily living activities.
• Transport clients and accompany them to appointments.
• Deliver domestic assistance and social support within clients' homes.

• Current First Aid Certificate
• Must be available to work minimum 10-15 hours per week - Monday to Friday
• Willingness to provide services such as personal care, transport, domestic assistance & social support & travel to client’s homes within a specified location

Longer hours and increased workloads are available, and the role may include weekend and overnight services.
