Job summary

FINA Australia is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living teams in Queensland. The roles offer Permanent Part Time or Reserve contracts with rolling rosters across mornings, afternoons and nights and guaranteed hours for part-time positions.

A Training & Assessment Program starts Tuesday, 6 October 2026, and you’ll be paid while you train. You’ll help clients achieve wellbeing and independence while benefiting from a supportive, purpose-driven

Qualifications

• Disability, Individual Support or Mental Health experience is desirable.
• Australian Drivers Licence is required.
• Blue & Yellow Card is preferred and guidance can be provided.
• First Aid / CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in Supported Independent Living (SIL) settings.
• Contribute to client wellbeing and independence through person-centered care.
• Work across morning, afternoon and night shifts; participate in rolling rosters.
• Engage in ongoing training and contribute to a purpose-driven team.

Our Training & Assessment Program kicks off Tuesday, 6 October 2026– and yes, you’ll be paid while you train!

Shift Times:

Morning: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Night: 10:00pm – 6:00am

Note: Shifts are set on a rolling roster – you must be available for all types of shifts if on a Permanent Part Time of Reserves. These shifts include Saturday and Sunday work.
