Job summary

Right at Home Darling Downs is seeking Disability Support Workers to assist aged and disabled clients in Toowoomba and surrounds. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, meal prep, and community access to support independence at home.

Requirements include Certificate III/IV in Disability or related, First Aid/CPR, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, and access to a vehicle. Sleepovers and flexible hours are common. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in community/aged/disability support.
• Valid driver license with own insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
• Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• Medication assistance HLTHPS006 or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist aged and disability clients with daily living tasks at home.
• Support domestic tasks, social interactions, and community access.
• Promote client independence and safety.
• Adapt to various shifts including sleepovers.
