Job summary

Endeavour Foundation invites applications for Disability Support Workers to join our SIL homes in Banya. You will provide person-centred support enabling independent living, from daily living tasks to community participation.

Ideal candidates are calm, compassionate and professional, able to handle complex needs and behaviours of concern. A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous; multiple sleepovers and varied shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Calm, compassionate and professional Disability Support Worker.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern.
• Willingness to obtain or hold essential checks and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Help clients achieve NDIs goals by developing daily living skills.
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Assist with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and community activities.
• Support daily activities and outings; maintain connections with family and services.
