Melba Support Services in Victoria is seeking a Disability Support Worker (Casual) to provide person-centred, self-directed supports across SIL and other services. You will help people live meaningful lives, promote independence, and support with daily tasks in community and home settings.

No prior disability experience needed; we value compassion, reliability, and a commitment to choice, dignity and inclusion.

Formación

• You don't need prior disability experience; passion for supporting others matters.
• Commitment to dignity, respect and choice for people receiving support.
• Willingness to learn and grow; strong written and verbal communication.
• Certificate IV in Disability or Diploma of Community Services is highly regarded but not mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Help people build independence, confidence and life skills.
• Assist participation in community, educational and employment activities.
• Provide day-to-day support, including personal care where required.
• Support health and wellbeing, including medication assistance where required.
• Build positive relationships with supported persons and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver safe, high-quality, person-led support.
