Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting people with complex disabilities or behaviours of concern
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Driver Licence
• Australian Working Rights
• Ability to follow Behaviour Support Plans and procedures
• Experience with personal care, medication support and manual handling
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Commitment to customer-specific training and buddy shifts

The Role

You'll support a customer to:

• Participate safely in community and respite activities
• Receive personal care with dignity and respect
• Build confidence through predictable, consistent support
• Access meaningful activities and experiences
• Exercise choice, control and independence wherever possible

You will also:

• Follow Behaviour Support Plans and proactive support strategies
• Recognise triggers and early signs of escalation
• Provide medication support in line with procedures
• Complete safe transfers and manual handling tasks
• Complete accurate documentation and progress notes
• Follow customer-specific support plans and training requirements

• Comfortable working independently in community settings
• Experienced in personal care and medication support
• Confident with transfers and safe manual handling

Essential Requirements
