Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in Kempsey is hiring experienced and entry level Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. You will deliver direct support across domestic and personal care, and help clients access and participate in the community.

We value flexible shift patterns, including nights and weekends, and encourage applications from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples. A current driver's licence and smartphone are required, along with ability to obtain the NDIS Worker

Qualifications

• Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander preferred or mob connected
• Able to work shifts including sleepovers, weekends and school/public holidays
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
• Must obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencement

  About the Position:

  We have multiple opportunities inKempseyforExperienced and Entry Level Disability Support Workersto join our growing and specialised team.

  We provide quality 24/7 care in our supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes) ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our customers. You will be providing direct support across a range of customer needs including, domestic and personal care assistance as well as assisting our customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.

  About You:

  • Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander preferred or mob connected
  • Available for shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
