Job summary

Kirinari Community Services is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our skilled team delivering complex supports across community, respite and day programs. You will support people with complex disabilities, building trust through consistent, person-centred care.

Ideal candidates have NDIS Worker Screening clearance, current driver licence, and strong documentation skills. We offer flexible permanent part-time and casual roles with comprehensive onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting people with complex disabilities or behaviours of concern.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Driver Licence.
• Australian Working Rights.
• Ability to follow Behaviour Support Plans and procedures.
• Experience with personal care, medication support and manual handling.

The Role

You'll Support a Customer To

• Receive personal care with dignity and respect

You Will Also

• Follow Behaviour Support Plans and proactive support strategies
• Recognise triggers and early signs of escalation
• Provide medication support in line with procedures
• Complete safe transfers and manual handling tasks
• Complete accurate documentation and progress notes
• Follow customer-specific support plans and training requirements

Essential Requirements
