Job summary

Healthscope Independence Services in Mount Macedon, VIC is seeking a passionate Residential Attendant Care Support Worker to help clients live more independently under the NDIS. You will deliver high-quality personal care, daily living support, and community engagement in home and community settings.

The role requires Certificate III/IV in Disability or related qualification and at least 1 year in disability or healthcare services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support per individual plans.

At the Healthscope Independence Services (HIS), we are seeking a passionate and experienced residential/ Attendant Care Support Worker to provide high‑quality support to our clients receiving Attendant Care services under the NDIS.

• Classification: Level 2 - (Pay point will be determined based on experience and qualifications).

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them achieve their goals and live independently. You will work closely with our clients, supporting them with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement.

A typical day may include:

• Provide personal care support in line with individual support plans
• Assist participants with daily living activities in meal preparation and feeding.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, etc
• Accompanying and supporting clients in community-based activities, such as social outings, appointments, and recreational pursuits
• Ensure all required documentation (including daily notes, communication and progress reports) is thorough and up to date.
• Experience with behaviours of concern
• Adhere to all organisational policies, including medication administration, WHS, client rights, privacy, and confidentiality.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Certificate III / IV in Disability, Community Services, or related qualification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in disability or healthcare services is required.
• Strong communication, written, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work across a range of shift types.
