Job summary

Healthscope Independence Services in Glen Waverley, VIC is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality residential/Attendant Care support under NDIS. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement, in home and community settings.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in disability or healthcare services, and a Certificate III/IV in Disability or Community Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support in line with individual support plans
• Assist participants with daily living activities in meal preparation and feeding
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, etc
• Accompanying and supporting clients in community-based activities, such as social outings, appointments, and recreational pursuits
• Ensure all required documentation (including daily notes, communication and progress reports) is thorough and up to date
• Experience with behaviours of concern
• Adhere to all organisational policies, including medication administration, WHS, client rights, privacy, and confidentiality
• Work within a team environment.

At the Healthscope Independence Services (HIS), we are seeking a passionate and experienced residential/ Attendant Care Support Worker to provide high‑quality support to our clients receiving Attendant Care services under the NDIS.

• Classification: Level 2 - (Pay point will be determined based on experience and qualifications).
• Work Location: Glen Waverley, VIC and nearby surrounding suburbs.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them achieve their goals and live independently.
