Job summary

Willowbridge Care is seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist a middle-aged participant in a Supported Independent Living setting. You will support daily living, enable access to community services, and promote social participation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting people with complex behaviours.
• Current driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Ability to work flexible hours (including overnights and public holidays).
• Proven experience supporting medication administration within scope as a Disability Support Worker.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, dignified personal care and daily living support.
• Build positive, trusting relationships and communicate clearly.
• Implement positive behaviour support strategies safely and consistently.
• Promote independence, choice, and community inclusion.
• Support access to appointments, programs, and recreational activities.
• Complete accurate, timely shift notes and incident reports.
• Safely support medication administration in line with care plans and authorisations.
• Work collaboratively with families/guardians and the broader support team.
