Job summary

Sirv is seeking an experienced Support Worker to assist a 54-year-old man with disability in Wynumm, QLD. You will provide non‑verbal client support, medication assistance, and personal care. The role includes community outings and SIL home support, with potential progression to part‑time ongoing work.

Casual shifts are offered with flexibility across a 9:00am–2:00pm window, and commitment to PBS strategies is essential. Current screening and a valid driver's license are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be studying a relevant qualification in disability support.
• Experience with non-verbal clients and complex behaviour preferred.
• Ability to provide medication support and personal care with PBS guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide casual shifts with potential progression to part‑time ongoing work.
• Support a non‑verbal client with ASD Level 3, OCD and intellectual disability.
• Deliver full medication support and personal care assistance.
• Engage in community outings and in‑home SIL support as required.
