The Disability Support Worker – Complex Behaviour will provide person-centered support to NDIS participants with high complex behavioral and mental health needs. This is a Casual role based in the Greater Canberra Area, involving direct care, daily living assistance, community access, and implementation of behavior support strategies. Day-to-day tasks include supporting participants with personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts (within scope), and household activities, while maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. The worker will follow individualised support and behavior plans, monitor changes in wellbeing, document progress and incidents, and communicate effectively with participants, families, clinical teams, and coordinators. The role also involves promoting choice, independence, dignity, and inclusion, and contributing to a positive team culture grounded in respect and accountability.
