Seek is seeking a Disability Support Worker for the Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast region. You’ll provide person-centred support to participants, helping with daily living tasks, community access and goal‑driven activities in a respectful, empowering way.
We value experienced workers who stay engaged, use strong communication, document shift notes and incident reports, and collaborate with families and other professionals to support each person's goals.
If your idea of disability support is scrolling on your phone, sitting back and simply getting through the shift, this role isn't for you.
We're looking for people who see disability support as a profession and treat it that way. People who understand that person-centred support isn't just something written in a care plan. It's how you show up, how you engage and what you do throughout every shift.
Disability support is about far more than personal care or completing tasks. It's about listening, building trust, supporting choice, creating opportunities and helping people work towards the goals that matter to them.
Every shift should have purpose.
If you take pride in your work, stay genuinely engaged with the person you're supporting and understand the responsibility that comes with this profession, we want to hear from you.

We are an established registered NDIS provider delivering Supported Independent Living, Community Access and In-Home Supports across the Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast regions.
We support people living with psychosocial, intellectual and physical disabilities, including people with complex support needs. Every person is different and our role is to provide support that is respectful, consistent and built around each person's goals, choices and needs.
For us, great support is about more than providing care. It's about walking alongside people as they build lives that are meaningful and authentically their own.
Disability support carries real responsibility. Every conversation, decision and interaction can either support or undermine someone's independence, dignity and quality of life.
Person-centred support isn't about you. It's about the person you're supporting, their goals, their choices, their independence and their life.
Depending on the person you're supporting, your shifts may involve personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, community access, appointments, skill development, implementing behaviour support strategies and supporting people to become more independent in their everyday lives.
We need people who are present, observant and engaged. People who notice what is happening, take initiative where appropriate and understand that simply being on shift isn't the same as providing good support.
You’ll be someone who:
This role is best suited to experienced support workers who have developed strong practice across a range of support needs and environments. Experience in mental health and/or dementia will be highly regarded.
You’ll also understand that shift notes and incident reports aren't paperwork to get out of the way before going home. They are a critical part of quality support. What you observe and document helps us understand a person's progress, identify changes in their support needs and advocate for them when it matters.
Experience is valuable. Character and values are essential.
Our leaders work closely with our support teams to make sure supports are delivered safely, professionally and in line with each person's plans.
Our culture is built around integrity, respect, high standards, belief in what people can achieve and a shared responsibility to do the right thing.
We expect people to support each other, communicate openly, take ownership when something isn't right and keep the person they're supporting at the centre of their decisions.
If you're looking for meaningful work and you're prepared to bring professionalism, care and genuine commitment to every shift, we'd like to hear from you.
