Job summary

CatholicCare is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join the SIL team in Terrey Hills. Casual roles with varied shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights. You will support participants with daily living, transport and community activities.

You must have a valid NSW driver’s licence, WWCC, current First Aid and CPR, and an NDIS Worker Check with orientation. Salary packaging and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• NSW driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.
• Current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• NDIS Worker Check and NDIS orientation module completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with household tasks: cleaning, laundry, meal prep.
• Provide personal care including showers, dressing and grooming.
• Implement individual support plans to help clients reach goals.
• Assist with social outings and community participation.
• Understand client needs and adapt to changes.
• Build respectful relationships with clients and families.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for the participants' daily activities. From providing personalcare,community involvement,completingreports, and following personal support plans.
