Job summary

CatholicCare is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to assist participants to live independently in the Waitara community. You will support daily activities, provide personal care, facilitate community involvement, and ensure accurate reporting under individual support plans.

This part-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with SCHADS Level 2+ casual loading, salary packaging, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people of all ages.
• NDIS workers check and NSW Orientation Modules.
• Unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence and access to a comprehensive insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Current Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support daily activities.
• Assist participants with community involvement and outings.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Follow personal support plans and care instructions.

About the role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for the participants' daily activities. From providing personal care, community involvement, completing reports, and following personal support plans.

Location: Waitara NSW

Role: Part time

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: from 8:30am up to 5:30pm

Interviews will be conducted via an assessment centre in Waitara.
