Job summary

Dignity Home Care Services in Brisbane's North Lakes area is seeking Disability Support Workers for immediate start. This role focuses on compassionate, personalised care for clients living with disabilities, across North Lakes and Brisbane, with a variety of shifts.

You will assist with daily living activities, accompany clients to appointments and events, and implement care plans while reporting progress to the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of disability support experience required.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (or working towards).
• Blue Card (working towards) or valid Blue Card in your region.
• NDIS Worker Screening (yellow card)
• NDIS Worker Screening application in progress is acceptable at time of application
• National Police check

• Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community events

We are seeking Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Dignity Home Care Services, for immediate start in the suburbs of North Lakes, and Brisbane for variety of shifts. This is a position where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and individualised care to our clients living with disabilities.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

• Participants seeking female Support Workers
• Previous experience providing disability support or community care services and or experience working with clients with a spinal cord injury is highly desirable
• Minimum 1 year of disability support experience required
• A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a person-centered approach
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a caring team
• A valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle (required)
• A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (or working towards)
• Currently enrolled candidates for Certificate III in Individual Support are acceptableBlue Card
• NDIS Worker Screening (yellow card)
• NDIS Worker Screening application in progress is acceptable at time of application
• National Police check
