Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Support (AHS) is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in Cameron Park, NSW. You will provide person-centred support to a male participant with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

This casual role offers flexible afternoon shifts, with ongoing opportunities to complement your existing schedule. Must have Australian working rights and relevant certifications to support high care and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to a participant with complex physical disabilities.
• Assist with personal care, domestic tasks, meal preparation and bedtime routine.
• Support with medications as trained, with willingness to receive training as needed.
• Work collaboratively with families and support teams to maintain independence and wellbeing.

Advantage Healthcare Support (AHS) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide person-centred support to a participant with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

This opportunity is ideal for support workers seeking extra shifts to complement their existing schedule.

About This Role

• Providing support to a male participant.
• Assisting with personal care/showering, domestic assistance, meal preparation and bed time routine.
• Assisting with medication and willing to be trained in midazolam administration.
• Must have extensive experience in high care/complex care.
• Must have experience with Hoist.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Confident supporting people with complex physical disabilities.
• Calm, patient, and respectful.
• Reliable and committed to providing consistent support.
• Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with families and support teams.
• Have the ability to work independently.

Shifts Available (Ongoing)

• Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
