Job summary

Your Best Life Disability and Health Services in Maroochydore is seeking a dedicated care worker to support clients with daily living activities, meals, mobility and medication administration. You will participate in social activities, build meaningful relationships with clients and their families, and help maintain a safe, welcoming home environment.

Experience with hoisting/manual handling is valued; a Certificate III in Individual Support, First Aid/CPR, and clear checks (NDIS, WWCC) are

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care or similar).
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications, a valid Driver's Licence, and all standard checks (NDIS, WWCC).
• Willingness to work across shifts, including active days, and to perform hoisting/manual handling tasks.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting client-centred daily living (personal care, meals, mobility, meds)
• Joining in on social and recreational activities
• Building genuine connections with clients and their families
• Keeping records and making sure the home is safe, clean, and welcoming

What are we looking for?

• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care, or similar)
• First Aid + CPR, Driver’s Licence, and all the usual checks (NDIS, WWCC)
• Someone willing to do a variety of shifts, including actives
• Experience with hoisting / manual handling
• Great communication skills and a positive, client and team attitude
• Experience in disability support is a plus, but passion and people skills matter most
• We are a registered NDIS provider
