Job summary

Above & Beyond Disability Support Services Pty Ltd – Gatton QLD is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. You will provide person-centred supports that promote independence, choice and community participation for participants across Toowoomba, Gatton and Ipswich.

Shifts include weekdays, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and active nights, with flexible casual and permanent opportunities, competitive pay with penalty rates and ongoing paid training.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for supporting people with disability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, professional and compassionate approach.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support community access, appointments and social participation.
• Administer medication (where trained and authorised).
• Complete accurate documentation and shift notes.
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans and participant care plans.
• Promote participant choice, dignity and independence.
• Work collaboratively with participants, families and the broader care team.

About the Role

We're seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. You'll provide person-centred supports that promote independence, choice and community participation while helping participants achieve their individual goals.

Shifts are available across Toowoomba, Gatton and Ipswich, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and active nights.
