Job summary

Equal Outcomes is a Geelong-based NDIS provider seeking casual Support Workers to assist participants in the community and in daily living activities. You’ll help people engage in activities they enjoy across Geelong and surrounds, building independence and managing household tasks.

Responsibilities include personal care, transport to appointments, following support plans, and maintaining progress notes in line with NDIS requirements.

Qualifications

• NDIS Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Current driver's licence and insured vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed.
• The right to work in Australia.
• Experience providing personal care.
• Previous experience in disability support.
• First Aid & CPR.

About the role

We're looking for casual Support Workers to join our team. Depending on the participant, your shifts may involve day, evening or weekend work across Geelong and surrounds.

Tasks and responsibilities

Supporting participants to access their community and take part in activities they enjoy

Building independence and daily living skills

Assisting with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and shopping

Transporting participants to appointments and activities

Following participant support plans and maintaining accurate progress notes

Reporting incidents and concerns in line with NDIS requirements

Communicating openly with participants, families and the Equal Outcomes team

What you'll need
