Including You in Melbourne is seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team. You will help people with disabilities access communities, perform personal care tasks with dignity, and promote independence through tailored support.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will be helping make a difference in the lives of those living with a disability.
Assistance with community access and recreational activities
MUST be willing to undertake Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance) while respecting dignity - training provided when required
Manual handling - training provided when required
Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
Behavioral and Mental Health Support
Dedicated to helping participants achieve personal goals with encouragement
Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality and professionalism
One of the following is desirable but not essential:
Cert III in Individual Support
Cert IV in Disability
NDIS Workers Orientation Module
NDIS Induction Module
Infection Control
COVID-19 Infection Control
Assist Clients with Medication
MUST be willing to undertake Personal Care
A fully insured (comprehensive) and reliable vehicle and the willingness to use it for work purposes.
Current Drivers License
NDIS Screening Check
A current Working with Children's Check
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Empathetic and proactive approach with a genuine interest to work in this field
The legal right to work in Australia
Three Professional References
You must have a NDIS worker screening clearance check before commencing work. You will also be required to undertake the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's free online Worker Orientation Module and Induction Module prior to commencing.
